Our principal and staff

Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.

Welcome from our principal

Welcome to Malabar Public School, we nurture a strong, inclusive environment that promotes respect, kindness, and belonging. We offer a safe, nurturing space where every student is known by name and are supported to reach their full potential academically and personally. Through rich learning programs, extracurricular activities, and community events, we aim to develop confident, capable young people ready to make a positive impact.

Our passionate and dedicated educators blend explicit teaching with play, inquiry, innovative technologies and real-world experiences. From nature play to High Potential Programs, our students are challenged, inspired, and supported to grow and succeed. We are proud to have a well-established reputation for holding a strong academic focus and students enjoy diverse opportunities that challenge and extend their learning across an extensive and progressive curriculum. We work collaboratively within our school, across the Little Bay Community of Schools, and through broader educational networks to provide high quality teaching and learning experiences for all. Whether you're new to our school or already part of our Malabar family, I warmly welcome you to be part of our continued journey-a journey where friendship and learning go hand in hand.

“I’m excited to welcome you to our school, where we create a supportive environment for every child to thrive. We value respect, curiosity and teamwork.

We’re proud of our dedicated staff and strong partnerships with families. Together, we ensure students feel valued and inspired to learn.

I invite you to explore our website to discover what makes our school special. We look forward to welcoming you into our community.”
